   Bob Verdile has thirty-years experience in the private sector both from a regional and national level. He also has twenty plus years serving Parma Heights, both as an elected council person and serving on various boards and commissions.

   The Department of Economic Development's mission is assisting current businesses to grow, attracting new business to Parma Heights, and to promote business through various other means.
   We also continually work on the beautification of our business district by working with the Cuyahoga County of Department Development. In addition, we also can assist business owners both information on marketing programs, SBA or bank funding, if requested.The Director is also available to speak with business groups or meet with tentative new business with an interest in relocating to Parma Heights.The various programs that Parma Heights has to help promote its business owners are:

   Surrounding communities are Brookpark, Middleburg Heights, and Parma.  We are 10 minutes from Interstate 480 and Interstate 71, 15 minutes from Hopkins International Airport and 12 miles from Downtown Cleveland.  Our public transportation is excellent. We have one public High School and two elementary schools.  We also have one private High School.  We are 10 minutes from Parma Community General Hospital, a major health care facility and approximately 15 minutes from Southwest General Hospital in Berea Ohio.  Parma Heights also has numerous churches of various denominations, very efficient safety and service departments, and a very pro business approach from Mayor Zanotti and Council.  We have affordable homes and rental units. We have some of the highest trafic counts in Cuyahoga County. A new housing development is in the planning stages for 2008 that will be comprised of town homes and single family homes at very competitive prices.
