The Law Department consists of the Law Director, Assistant Law Director, Prosecutor, Legal Assistant and Secretary.

The Law Department serves as legal advisors to the Mayor, Council, administrative departments, and the officers, boards and commissions of the Municipality.  It drafts and reviews all legislation before presentation to City Council for adoption.  It drafts, reviews and approves all city contracts and represents the Municipality in civil litigation matters and prosecution.  

The Prosecutor represents the City of Parma Heights in Parma Heights Mayor’s Court and at the Parma Municipal Court regarding misdemeanor traffic and criminal violations.
