"My philosophy is that all residents of Parma Heights should have full access to the city’s parks and recreational activities, whether it is T-ball for girls and boys or a public garden for the community’s adults to enjoy. The Parma Heights Pool has become a place of refuge on hot summer days not only for Parma Heights residents, but also for the people in surrounding communities as well, due to its sterling reputation. All residents are not only welcomed but also encouraged to participate in the various opportunities the Parma Heights Recreation Department offers."
Maggie Hess, Recreation Secretary

How do I know
if the pool will be open?
70 degrees is the magic number!
If the day is sunny and 70, we will open.......if it's 70 and cloudy/windy/rainy, we will have to reassess as the day goes on.
If the pool does not open at noon, we do keep an eye on the weather to see if conditions will change for a later opening around 4:00 p.m.
Weather conditions control everything! Persistant rain, lightening or cloudy/windy conditions force a pool closure. We give a 1 hour notice so everyone can secure a safe ride home.
If you are not sure if the pool is open or has reopened, simply call the Recreation Office and they will be happy to let you know. 440.884.9600, or call the pool at 440.886.2424.
The Recreation Department welcomes sponsorship of baseball/softball/t-ball and soccer teams by Parma Heights and surrounding area businesses, individuals and friends of the programs. There is a $175 fee for sponsorship. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the Recreation Department at 440 884-9600 x5678.
