About The Department
The city instituted a Rental Property Maintenance Program on April 10, 2006. This program was initiated in large part due to the growing number of rental properties located within the City of Parma Heights.
Rental Property Registration
Any property owner that owns rental property within the city is required to register the dwelling with the department.
The registration process includes submitting an application a $100 inspection fee. An inspection of the exterior of the property is also required prior to issuance of the rental occupancy certificate.
